On March 22, 2023, Chun Li, Mayor of Sanming, Fujian Province, together with leaders of other government departments and leaders of Pudong New Area Economic and Information Commission, visited Xihua. The two sides exchanged views on the cooperation between Shanghai and Sanming  in biomedicine industry. Dr. Xing, Chairman of Xihua, accompanied other heads of relevant departments to visit and attend the meeting.

At the symposium, Dr. Xing, first delivered a welcoming speech on the visit. Afterwards, Mayor Chun Li kindly introduced the historical development of the biomedical industry in Sanming, Fujian Province, and said that the biomedical industrial park is a prominent feature of the development of Sanming city, and stressed that leaders at all levels are committed to the comprehensive implementation of industrial project construction. Dr. Xing introduced the development process of Xihua since its establishment -- from a company specializing in biological analysis business to a comprehensive pharmaceutical research and production enterprise, and roughly introduced the functions of each business module of Xihua and leading overseas scientists. Mayor Chun Li praised the laboratory construction of Xihua headquarters, and expressed concern about the Fujian Xixiang Pharmaceutical under construction. She hoped that both sides could spare no effort to jointly promote the construction progress of Fujian Xixiang Pharmaceutical and put it into production at an early date.
